While the Virgin Islands are not famous for sports, that certainly does not mean that there have not been some great athletes from the VI. Tim Duncan is probably the most famous at this time giving to his success with the San Antonio Spurs. The USVI has also fielded athletes in baseball, boxing and numerous olympic events including the winter olympic event known as the luge.
